Reliance Jio new add-on offer makes its Rs 149 pack more attractive; but here's a catch

In a bid to attract more users, Reliance Jio is coming up with various new plans. The Mukesh Ambani-led company, which has changed the dynamics of telecom tariff plans, has been offering various monsoon plans, giving tough competitions to other many telecom service providers like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea Cellular.   Reliance Jio is now under its Digital Pack prepaid plan offering an add-on pack for free, making its Rs. 149 pack more attractive. It will provide customers 2GB of additional daily data apart from their existing plan.

This new offer is only valid till July 30, and will be extended to only select Jio customers, according to Telecom Talk. The offer would be exclusive for the Jio prepaid users. SMS and calling benefits under this plan will remain unchanged. The benefit will only be in the form of data. 

The users with an active prepaid connections will be able to subscribe the plan. With the free subscription to the Digital Pack the Jio users would get a total benefit of 3.5GB data per day. The original plan offers 1.5GB daily data with unlimited calling and 100 free SMS per day.

The benefits of unlimited calling and the SMS would remain the same. The extra 2GB benefit of Digital Pack will be valid till July 30 (July 31 for some users). However, it is not yet known that how Reliance Jio will select the users for this plan.
