Reliance Jio Emergency Data loan facility: Telecom giant Reliance Jio has brought an emergency data loan facility for its users. As the name suggests, this is an emergency facility is for those users who run out of their data and cannot recharge immediately due to some reasons.

Emergency Data loan facility will provide 'recharge now and pay later' functionality to Jio users that will also help them in case they do not have money in their wallet or accounts.
Reliance Jio will allow prepaid users to borrow up to five emergency data loan packs of 1 GB each. Each Rs 1 GB data loan will cost Jio users Rs 11 per data borrowings.
This is expected to provide much needed relief to those users who work in relatively poor network are, frequently use data and cannot recharge it immediately due to some reasons. One can avail this facility in no time from the Jio app.
How to avail Reliance Jio Emergency Data loan facility on MyJio app
Step 1: Go to MyJio app on your smartphone and navigate to Menu option, one with three bars on the top left of the Jio app.
Step 2: On number 8th position, you fill find an option of ‘Emergency Data Loan’. Select this option here
Step 3: You will have an interface that says 'Recharge Now, Pay Later'. Click ‘Proceed’ .
Step 4: On the next page, select the ‘Get emergency data’ option.
Step 5: There you go. Just hit 'activate now' on the next page and you are good to go.
