Reliance Industries share up ahead of Mukesh Ambani's big announcement
Ambani is also expected to talk about Jio Payments Bank, which is likely to be launched by next month.
Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani is set to make some big announcements today. Ambani will be addressing LIVE to its shareholders at 1330 hours.
Ahead of the announcements, the shares of the company were trading in green. At 1236 hours the shares of the company were trading at Rs 1079.75 per piece, up 0.56% or Rs 6.05 on BSE.
Today, all the eyes will be on extension of Reliance Jio's offers. In December, Ambani had extended its Welcome Offer to Happy New Year offer till March 31, 2017.
Since its launch in September last year, Jio has touched 100 million customers, becoming the fastest telecom company to get this number of users on board.
Moreover, he is also expected to talk about Jio Payments Bank, which is likely to be launched by next month.
