Steel products maker Rhetan TMT Ltd has announced financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2024.
According to an exchange filing, the company's net profit rose to Rs 2.27 crore in the quarter ended September 2024. This is a jump of 233.82 per cent from Rs 0.68 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2023.
However, the company's revenue from operations declined around 52 to Rs 4.94 crore in the quarter ended September 2024 as against Rs 10.46 crore during the previous quarter ended September 2023.
Meanwhile, the company said that it is planning to set up a 2 MW solar power plant at its Kadi manufacturing facility in Gujarat.
The TMT bar and round bars manufacturer will set up the solar power plant for its captive use which will help it cut power costs and move towards green energy.
The company was listed on BSE SME Platform as on March 31, 2024 and migrated to BSE Main Board on May 6, 2024.
