Quarterly Results: Nandan Denim's net profit rises

Denim fabric manufacturer Nandan Denim has declared its financial results for the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25. The company's standalone net profit stood at Rs 7.49 crore in the June quarter as compared to Rs 1.70 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
The revenue from operations surged by over 30 per cent year-on-year (YoY) basis to Rs 721 crore. This was Rs 553 crore in the June quarter of the previous fiscal.
Earlier, the company's sales surged 26.68 per cent to Rs 579.12 crore in the fourth quarter of the FY24. It was Rs 457.16 in the same quarter a year ago.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 44.97 crore in the quarter ending March 31, 2024 as against Rs 0.53 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.
However, the sales declined to Rs 2010.09 crore in the fourth quarter of FY24 as against Rs 2026.76 crore during the previous year ended March 2023.
