Even as Securities Exchange Board of India (Sebi) is continuing its probe on Quant Mutual Fund house on possible front-running, the company's chief financial officer (CFO) Harshal Patel has tendered his resignation.  

In a statement on Friday (July 12, 2024), the mutual fund house said that Shashi Kataria will replace Patel as CFO of the company. "Contrary to rumours and false narratives circulating in media, quant Money Managers Limited hereby wishes to clarify that Mr. Harshal Patel tendered his resignation on 19th February, 2024 and the last day of his service with the company was on 19th May, 2024. His last held position was Chief Financial Officer for quant AMC.
 
"Mr. Shashi Kataria joined us on 10th June, 2024 and the Board Meeting was convened on 1st July, 2024 and was appointed as Chief Financial Officer, Operations Head and Executive Director of quant Money Managers Limited," said Team Quant Mutual Fund.
