As per reports, to celebrate opening of Popeyes first franchise in India in Bengaluru last year, the fast-food outlet and its global parent company - Restaurant Brand International (RBI) - is offering patrons the chance to eat chicken for free.
There's some mouth-watering news for those who are fond of non-vegetarian food, especially those who love to eat fried chicken. Since opening shop in India last year, America's popular food chain Popeyes has expanded to over 12 outlets and it plans to aggressively tap other markets across the country.
Domino's Pizza's parent company Jubilant Foodworks, which operates Popeyes outlets in India, recently announced its plans for expansion. Jubilant said that it is looking to first open 50 restaurants in the next one year, and then accelerate its growth further to open 250 outlets in the near future. This certainly means that more food lovers across India will get to sample one of America's most popular fried chicken dishes.
But that's not all. As per reports, to celebrate opening of Popeyes' first franchise in India in Bengaluru last year, the fast-food outlet and its global parent company - Restaurant Brand International (RBI) - is offering patrons the chance to eat chicken for free.
As per the information shared by the company, the offer for free chicken is only valid for March 18 and 19. Notably, this offer is valid only at Popeyes' outlets in Bengaluru.
Keeping in mind Indian food sensibilities and palate, Popeyes has also included vegetarian items like rice bowl, wraps and burgers in its menu. Since its launch in Bengaluru last year, Popeyes has also opened in Chennai and served over a million customers in the 12-odd-months. Since its formation in 1972, the fast food chain has expanded to 4100 outlets worldwide.
