Paytm Postpaid: After Flipkart launched pay later and a credit limit of Rs 60,000 for its customers, Paytm has also come out with a similar offer. Paytm has launched 'Paytm Postpaid' which allows a user to spend now and pay next month. However, the amount may vary from customer to customer depending upon their spending habits.

In a mailer to select customers, Paytm said, "Congratulations! You are among 1st few selected Paytm customers to get early access for Paytm Postpaid. Now, you can do your Mobile & DTH Recharges, Book Movie and Travel tickets & Shop on Paytm, without using your Card or Bank details or frequent wallet top-ups."

The amount spent will be free of interest.

The offer allows you to make multiple purchases and pay it back in a single bill next month. There will be no additional charges attached to your bill.

Since you will be able to make purchases from using credits from Paytm Postpaid, you won't be requiring any OTP or PIN to make the payments. The amount will be refunded instantly in case of cancellation of the order.

The Paytm said that the customers who will be using the Paytm Postpaid service will also get exclusive rewards offers like movie tickets, cash-back among others.

How to activate the Paytm Postpaid?
To use Paytm Postpaid, you will have to first activate it. To activate the offer, log into your Paytm app. In the top bar where 'Pay' and 'UPI Money Transfer' options are present besides other options, the last option is 'Paytm Postpaid'.

When you tap on it, it will show a list of features offered under the 'Paytm Postpaid'. In the end, you will notice 'Activate My Paytm Postpaid' option.

On tapping the activate option, you will be greeted with the terms and conditions list. Tap on 'Accept & Proceed' and you are all set to use the limit.


 
'Paytm Postpaid' Bill date:
"When you spend using Paytm Postpaid, your bill is generated on the 1st of the month and needs to be paid by 7th," said the Paytm.

What if not paid on time?
If you fail to pay the amount by the due date, a late fee will be levied on the amount. The late fee may go up to Rs 600 if the due amount is greater than Rs 5,000.

The Paytm Postpaid will allow users to make purchases through cardless credit and it is expected to boost the e-commerce firm's sale.
