Page Industries Q1 FY25 Results: Page Industries - which owns the Jockey innerwear and Speedo swimwear brands - on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 165.2 crore for the quarter ended June 30, marking an increase of 4.3 per cent over the corresponding period a year ago.

Page Industries registered revenue of Rs 1,290.4 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, as against Rs 1,234.3 crore for the year-ago period, according to a regulatory filing.

According to Zee Business research, Page Industries was estimated to register a net profit of Rs 176 crore and revenue of Rs 1,309 crore for the quarter ended June 30.

Page Industries' costs of material consumed decreased to Rs 260.3 crore for the June quarter from Rs 288.2 crore a year ago, according to the filing. 

The company said its quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) stood at Rs 243.3 crore. 

“I am pleased to announce that our dedicated efforts to enhance the inventory health of our distributors have significantly boosted the overall efficiency of our business. We have successfully maintained strong operating margins while simultaneously advancing several digital transformation initiatives, enhancing consumer engagement, and investing in technology," said VS Ganesh, Managing Director, Page Industries.

"We remain optimistic about the resurgence of demand in the upcoming quarters and are well-prepared to capitalise on it," said Ganesh. 

Page Industries shares ended 1.5 per cent lower at Rs 40,655.8 apiece on BSE after the earnings announcement.
