Orissa Bengal Carrier Q1FY23 Results: Announcing its June Quarterly Results, Orissa Bengal Carrier Limited (OBCL) reported a 43 per cent rise in the profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 3.13 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022. The company had reported a PAT at about Rs 2.19 crore in the same quarter previous year, as per official statement.

"The logistics services provider reported a marginal increase in the revenue from operations at Rs 90.65 crore in the first quarter of the ongoing financial year, which was about 5 per cent lower at Rs 86.45 crore in the year ago period," the statement added.

The company reported a 40 per cent rise in the profit before taxation and exceptional items to Rs 4.15 crore in the Q1FY23, compared to Rs 2.97 crore in Q1FY22. 

In the March 2022 quarter (Q4FY22), the company had reported a bottom line of 2.17 crore with an operational revenue of Rs 85.65 crore.
