NBCC net profit rises by 12% to Rs 46 crore
The company reported consolidated net profit of Rs 46.20 crore for the June quarter ended 2016 (Q1FY17), registering a rise of 12.24% from Rs 41.16 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
NBCC(India) reported consolidated net profit of Rs 46.20 crore for the June quarter ended 2016 (Q1FY17), registering a rise of 12.24% from Rs 41.16 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Consolidated total income from operation stood at Rs 1273.26 crore, increasing by 16.60% against Rs 1091.94 crore a year ago same period.
While operating profit (EBITDA – earnings before interest tax depreciation and amortization) was at Rs 45.85 crore, up by 28.86% year-on-year. It's operating profit margin was at 3.60%, expanding by 34 basis points yoy.
The top-line and bottom-line was boosted by positive EBITDA and margins.
Revenue in PMC and EPC business also added to NBCC's top-line growth.
The PMC (Project Management Consultancy) business witnessed growth of 21.59% yoy to Rs 1180.23 crore, and that of EPC business increased by 23.77% yoy to Rs 56.75 crore.
However, the real estate business of the company declined by 76.33% yoy to Rs 17.31 crore in this quarter.
On standalone front, the company's net profit of Rs 45.41 crore, increased by 14.55% yoy. While total income of Rs 1264.11 crore, witnessed growth of 15.84% yoy.
Shares of NBCC closed at Rs 248.90, up by 2% on BSE.
