Max Group on Friday announced that it has acquired India's largest rubber manufacturing company - The Rubber Product Limited. Max believes that this acquisition will take it one step closer to complete integration. "With this acquistion of The Rubber Product Limited, we have moved one step closer towards complete integration, which will help us to expand our product range and quality along with an advantage over our competitors," Monty JS Sabharwal, CMD, Max Spare Limited.
Max Spare is specialised in the field of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Rotary seals, and O-rings. It claims to have a customer base of over 8000 government organizations and corporates that include the Indian Defence Organization (DRDO) and Indian Railways, Steel Mills, Power Plant, Cement, and a variety of organizations across different fields.
Rubber Product, which is populary known as "RP", is known for manufacturing of a wide range of rubberised products in the industrial sector. With this acquisition, RP will now form a part of the Max Group, which is one of the largest manufacturer of Seals for Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Rotary applications, V-bets, and Grease.
Incorporated in 1965, at Mumbai, Rubber Product Limited has been a familiar name among industrial houses, manufacturer, exporters and suppliers of world class moulded items, extruded items, coated fabricks and inflatable items.
