Maruti Suzukis NEXA sells 1.75 lakh vehicles within 18 months
Kalsi added, NEXA will continue to create new and unique experiences for its customer beyond selling cars, and forge relationship which last beyond car purchase. NEXA is a response to a customer changing needs, expectations and aspirations.
While launching Nexa's 200th showroom, Maruti Suzuki on Monday said that the company has sold 1,85,000 vehicles of its NEXA brand since its inception.
At present, NEXA under its portfolio sells premium cross-over, S-Cross, premium hatchback Baleno and newly launched premium urban compact IGNIS.
R S Kalsi, Executive Director (Marketing & Sales) of Maruti Suzuki said, "Since its launch, Nexa has received an overwhelming response from customers and has done extremely well in its objective of changing the way cars are sold in India."
Kalsi said, "With all these initiatives, we are able to attract new categories of customers who are earlier not considering us. We have taken the challenge to create newer segments to fulfill the wishes of our customers.
Maruti Suzuki expects NEXA to sell 2 lakh vehicles when it completes 20 months of its launch. Also, the company plans to expand the number of NEXA outlets to 250 by end of current financial year.

Recently, NEXA's Ignis recorded over 10,000 bookings within one week of its launch.
