Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has launched an e-commerce platform called L&T-SuFin. It is the country's first integrated e-commerce platform for business to business industrial products and services. The transaction fee of the platform is around 1.5%.

The company was set to empower businesses, particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises, by enabling them to source industrial goods digitally and cost-effectively across India through the B2B e-commerce platform.

"With digital technologies, L&T SuFin is poised to transform Indian business landscape leading to formalisation of traditional supply chains and creating a win-win situation for suppliers and buyers", the company said in a statement.

The platform will have all types of construction and industrial products. At the same time, with an effort to offer industrial products to MSMEs across the country, logistics and finance will also be supported, said L&T's Business Head Bhadresh Pathak.

According to L&T's Corporate Strategy Head Anoop Sahai, Larsen & Toubro will improve the supply chain through the SuFIN platform and create better systems for buyers and suppliers. Through this, the availability of industrial products will become easy and transparent for all.

L&T SuFin offers a diverse range of industrial goods in more than 40 categories, as well as finance and logistical support. L&T SuFin provided sellers a chance to expand their markets. According to the company, the platform is meant to reach out to buyers across categories and across India.
