The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) won orders worth Rs 1,310 crore across various business segments.

Water & effluent treatment business, buildings & factories business and power transmission & distribution business have secured orders of Rs 631 crore,  Rs 340 crore and Rs 339 crore, respectively.
 
Water & effluent treatment business secured an order from Bihar Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited(BUIDCO),  a Bihar government-run company, to lay a new sewerage network and construct pumping stations at Saidpur, a L&T statement said. 
 

Another order has been bagged from Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited (KNNL), a Karnataka government enterprise, for execution of a lift irrigation system in Harapanahalli Taluk, Davanagere district.
 
Buildings & factories business won a Rs 340-crore order to construct an IT Park in Chennai from a leading developer. The proposed development will offer two towers of ten floors each and is required to be completed within stringent timelines. L&T’s scope of work includes construction of the entire civil structure, architecture works, façade and MEP works, the statement said.
 
Power transmission & distribution business secured an order worth Rs 339 crore from DNH Power Distribution Corporation Ltd for establishing a 66kV gas insulated substation with associated 66kV, 11kV and LT underground cable network in Silvassa city, the capital of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
 
The business has also won an order from Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited to convert the overhead conductor system to an underground cabling system to achieve reliable and uninterrupted power supply with improved voltage profile, in a subdivision of Bengaluru Metropolitan Area Zone.
