LIC Result FY22: The board of directors of the state-owned Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) will announce the financial results for the financial year ended March 2022 at the end of May. A meeting is scheduled for the same at the end of this month, as per PTI reported.
LIC said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday that the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Corporation is scheduled to be held on May 30, 2022.
The insurance behemoth said the board will consider and approve the audited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2022. It was listed on the bourses earlier this month on May 17.
The meeting will also decide the payment of dividends, according to LIC.
The much-anticipated LIC IPO (initial public offering) debuted at roughly 8% below its issue price, owing to turbulent market conditions, primarily due to geopolitical tensions emanating from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, said PTI.
On May 17, LIC shares were listed on the NSE at an 8.11 percent discount to their issue price of Rs 949 per share.
On the BSE, the LIC scrip was trading 1.12% higher at Rs 826 per share, PTI said.
