Kalpataru Power wins orders worth Rs 1,150 crore; shares rise nearly 3%
Kalpataru Power won two orders in excess of Rs 1,150 crore for projects in West Africa and Madhya Pradesh
Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) has secured new orders in excess of Rs 1,150 crore.
Commenting on the wins, Manish Mohnot, Managing Director, KPTL said, "We have visibility of order book in excess of Rs 10,000 crore which will drive our growth for the next few years. We will continue to focus on sustaining profitable growth through efficiency and productivity improvement across the value chain."
The company's orders include projects in West Africa for Rs 930 crore and in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 220 crore, it said in a BSE filing.
The project in West Africa is for the construction and supply of 225 KV and 90 KV overhead transmission lines. It has been awarded to KPTL and its subsidiary Kalpataru Power DMCC.
The other order is for Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Ltd and consists of the construction of 220 KV and 132 KV substations, transmission lines and feeder bay work.
The shares of KPTL rose to nearly 3% as a result of this news.
At 1058 hours the shares of the company on BSE were trading up 2.96% or Rs 6.30 at Rs 219.20 per piece.
While on NSE the shares were up 2.48% or Rs 5.30 at Rs 219.30 per piece.
