JSW Steel posts nearly 25% growth in crude steel production for February; stock up 2% in early trade
The crude steel production of JSW Steel rose up 24.9% to 12.65 lakh tonnes in February this year as against 10.13 lakh tonnes in February last year.

JSW Steel has recorded nearly 25% growth in crude steel production for February month.
The crude steel production of JSW Steel rose up 24.9% to 12.65 lakh tonnes in February this year as against 10.13 lakh tonnes in February last year, cited JSW Steel in a filing to the BSE on Wednesday.
The company's production of flat rolled steel products during the month was up 23.1% to 8.96 lakh tonnes as compared to 7.28 lakh tonnes in the corresponding period of last year.

Its production of long rolled steel products during February month grew by 7.3% to 2.50 lakh tonnes as against 2.33 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.

At 10:50 hours, the stock of JSW Steel was trading up 1.57% or Rs 2.85 at Rs 184.20 on the BSE.
