Airtel vs Jio vs Vodafone: There seems no end to the ongoing data war which started soon after the launch of Reliance Jio. Since the launch of Jio, data prices have fallen by 93 per cent. Top telcos like Airtel, Vodafone have been modifying existing plans and launching new plans to counter Jio and retain consumers.

After launching Rs 159 plan, Vodafone India has now launched a Rs 597 plan to take on Airtel and Jio. The Rs 597 plan comes with 10GB 4G/3G data, unlimited Local/STD (250 minutes daily or a maximum of 1000 minutes per week) and roaming calls, and 100 SMS per day. The validity of the plan will be for 112 days for smartphone users while it will be 168 days for the new feature phone users.

Airtel has also a similar plan. Airtel's Rs 597 plan comes with a validity of 168 days for all users. The plan has provision for 10GB 3G/4G data and 100 SMS messages per day besides unlimited local and STD calls.

Though the Jio has no plan for 168 days, it offers 1.5GB 4G data per day for 91 days (136GB in total) at the cost of Rs 449. The plan also offers 100 SMS per day.

Vodafone also has a Rs 458 plan with 84 days validity. It offers 1.4GB 4G/3G data per day, 100 SMS per day and unlimited Local, STD (250 minutes per day and 1000 minute per week) & Roaming calls within India.

On the similar line, Airtel's Rs 448 plan offers 1.4GB data/day, Unlimited Calls (Local+STD+National Roaming), 100 Local+STD SMS/day and come with 82 days validity.
