Jet Airways starts 2nd flight in Delhi-Dhaka sector
The new service started from today will complement the existing daily operations between the two cities, providing guests with more flight choices. The new flight makes Jet Airways the airline operating the most number of flights between the two countries.
Jet Airways has commenced an additional flight between New Delhi and Bangladesh capital Dhaka from today. Now the flight will give the service in this sector four times a week. Jet Airways will fly in Delhi-Dhaka sector on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
The new service started from today will complement the existing daily operations between the two cities, providing guests with more flight choices. The new flight makes Jet Airways the airline operating the most number of flights between the two countries.
The additional flight may prove to be a boon for corporate travelers. It may also help to enhance economic ties between India and Bangladesh. Guests from Bangladesh will also have a convenient travel option to international destinations. Within India, the new flight will offer easy onward connections to Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow and Pune.
Gaurang Shetty, Whole-time Director, Jet Airways said "Guests from Dhaka can benefit from the connectivity options provided by Jet Airways’ extensive network across India and across the world through its hubs in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru."
Jet Airways 9W 280 will depart from Delhi at 1035 hrs (LT) and arrive into Dhaka at 1345 hrs. On its return, 9W 279 will depart from Dhaka at 1515 hrs (LT) and reach Delhi at 1725 hrs (LT).

Shetty said, "There was a need and potential to develop the operations between the capitals of India and Bangladesh. As economic activities develop along with the ties between the two countries, it provides opportunities for citizens of Bangladesh to be a part of the growth story. The new service also presents an opportunity for businesses and leisure travelers to explore the potential of our neighbouring country."
Tickets for new services are available from INR 28,790 onwards for a return economy flight. A premiere return ticket is available for INR 93,096 and upwards. One way fares start at INR 16,649 and INR 62,618 for Economy and Premiere, respectively.
