Jet Airways reported a net profit of 23.4% in the quarter ending September 2016. The airline's net profit grew to Rs 108.1 crore in Q2 FY17 from Rs 87.5 crore from the corresponding quarter last year.

The company reported only a 3% growth in total income as it stood at Rs 5,420.3 crore in Q2 FY17 from Rs 5,257.9 crore in the same period last year.

The revenue from domestic operations grew by 5.14% to Rs 2,122.5 crore from Rs 2,018.6 crore in same period last year. Their international revenues increased by 1.8% to Rs 3,297.7 crore from 3,239.3 crore in the same period last year.

The airline's expenses grew marginally to Rs 5,359.9 crore in the September ending quarter from Rs 5,095.5 crore in the same quarter last year.
