Jet Airways flight cancelled? Get air ticket refunds through this method - Know procedure here

As multiple Jet Airways flights have been grounded due to financial problems, many people will be affected due to this. Now, the passengers of the cancelled flights have to make arrangement for their alternative flight and avail of their refunds. Jet Airways said in a Twitter post that its customer service team was working round-the-clock to ensure that the customers who had booked tickets earlier do not face inconvenience.  

"Due to operational reasons, our flight schedules have been impacted. We truly regret the inconvenience and would like to assure you that our customer support teams are working 24x7 to ensure that our guests are re-accommodated or provided with a full refund," the airline tweeted.

The airline said that its contact centre, guest relations, and social media teams were receiving high volumes of queries which may lead to extended wait/response times for some guests. "We seek your understanding and support," it said. 

Process for Jet Airways ticket cancellation and refunds:
1. The customers who have booked tickets may visit - www.jetairways.com/disruption-assistance
2. The passenger has to fill up a form with details such as name, route, PNR, ticket number, date, mobile number, and other details
3. The customer can submit the form 
4. Once your refund request is processed, it may take 7–10 working days for credit to reflect in the customer's account

"We sincerely apologise once again for this inconvenience and seek your understanding and support during this inordinate challenging phase that the airline is going through," a post on the airline's website said.

Last week, the airline said that the recent media reports indicating that DGCA has asked Jet Airways to stop accepting advance bookings was factually incorrect and there was no such proposal.
