Ipca Labs Q3 Results Preview: Mumbai-headquartered Ipca Labs is expected to see strong operational performance as the pharma company reports its December quarter results on Wednesday (February 13, 2024). As per Zee Business research, the company is estimated to report a consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 162 crore in the December quarter, which will be an upside of 47 per cent from the Rs 110 crore the company reported Year-on-Year (YoY).

The analysts estimate that the large-cap company's revenue from operations for the third quarter will rise by 38 per cent to Rs 2127 crore from Rs 1546 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The Street estimates Ipca Labs' EBITDA to soar by 60 per cent to Rs 345 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 216 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. 

The pharma firm's margins, meanwhile, are estimated to rise to 16 per cent in the December quarter from 14 per cent in the third quarter last year.

What more can we expect from Ipca Labs?

The research team says that Ipca Labs' YOY numbers are not compatible with Unichem integration.

At the same time, it predicts that the formulations segment/Unichem will benefit from good growth.

Analysts expect Ipca Labs' growth to be 11 per cent in the DF segment.

Research expects flat growth in the company's API sales.

It advises investors to keep an eye on Ipca Labs domestic business, the outlook on the API business, and an update on US approvals.

The stock of the pharma company was trading lower by 0.30 per cent, or Rs 3.50, at Rs 1165.00 at 2:11 pm on Tuesday.
