IndiGo offers 15% discount on flights, deadline looms; 10 points

Domestic budget carrier IndiGo is offering up to 15 per cent discount on domestic and international flight tickets, said the airline website. The interested flyers can do the booking till August 30, 2018, for the travel period that starts on September 8, and ends on October 8, 2018. The airline is also offering 10 per cent discount on one-way fare and 15 per cent discount on return fare under this scheme. 
 
The discount can be availed only by using the promo code 'SEP15P' while booking the tickets. Further, it informed that "this offer is made by InterGlobe Aviation Limited (“IndiGo”) to the customers booking IndiGo flights from 00:01 hours on August 24, 2018 till 23:59 hours on August 30, 2018 (“Offer Period”) for travel between 00:00 hours on September 08, 2018 and 23:59 hours on October 8, 2018." 
 
Here are key terms and conditions stated on the website related to the offer:
 
1. IndiGo will offer a discount of (a) 10% on the ‘Base Fare’ per flight on a one-way flight booking; and (b) 15% on the ‘Base Fare’ per flight on a return flight booking (discount pursuant to (a) or (b), the “Discount”), to customers making bookings during the Offer Period for travel on various sectors across its domestic and international network. 
2. Limited inventory is available under the Offer and therefore discounts will be provided to customers subject to availability and at the sole discretion of IndiGo.
3. Discount is not applicable on airport charges and government taxes.
4. The Offer is valid for bookings made during the Offer Period, at least 15 (fifteen) days prior to the date of departure, provided that the date of travel is no later than October 8, 2018.
5. The Offer is valid only on non-stop flights on various sectors across IndiGo’s domestic and international network.
6. This Offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer, scheme, or promotion.
7. This Offer is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-encashable.
8. If the booking made under this Offer is cancelled for any reason, the Promo Code or Offer cannot be revalidated for the purpose of new booking made in its place.
9. All IndiGo flight bookings made under this Offer shall be subject to IndiGo’s conditions of carriage available at www.goindigo.in.
10. By making an IndiGo flight booking during the Promotion Period under the Offer, the customer: (i) unconditionally and irrevocably agrees to these terms and conditions; and (ii) consents that all information provided by the customer may be shared by IndiGo with its agents, representatives, service providers, employees, and may be used to send promotional information pertaining to IndiGo to the customer, in future.

The full service carrier, Jet Airways, has also come out with an ‘International Flight Sale’ scheme, wherein, it is offering flight tickets for as low as Rs 4,299. Passengers will be allowed to one-way flight tickets to any of the 20 destinations on offer across the globe if they book tickets under this offer, said the company website. 
 
Under the offer, the popular tourist destinations include Colombo, Bangkok, Dubai, Paris and others. Flyers interested to avail a round trip need to pay nearly Rs 9,999. The Jet Airways offer ends on August 25.
