Meet Thomas Kurian, after Satya Nadella, Sundar Pichai, another Indian-American on top of tech world

After Satya Nadella and Sundar Pichai's appoinment at the helm of Microsoft and Google, respectively, Thomas Kurian, another Indian-American, has been appointed to the leadership role by technology giant Google.  Kurian will head Google Cloud from early next year, the tech giant announced.

Thomas Kurian will succeed current CEO of Google Cloud Diane Greene. Greene is reportedly going to continue through January to ensure a smooth transition.  Greene, however, will remain a Director on the board of Alphabet, Google`s parent company.
Kurian, who hails from Bengaluru, is a former Oracle President of product development. 

"Kurian, a respected technologist and executive, will be joining Google Cloud on November 26 and transitioning into the Google Cloud leadership role in early 2019," IANS quoted a Greene statement as saying.
Kurian worked with Oracle for 22 years. Kurian left Oracle in September this year. He was Oracle`s Executive Committee member for 13 Years. He led a team of 35,000 people software development spreading across 32 countries.
Kurian helped in the transformation of Oracle`s products with introduction of leading suite of Cloud Services.
