HPCLs Q3 net profit rises nearly 53% to Rs 1,590.31 crore in FY17
HPCL on Monday reported 53.73% jump in the standalone net profit for the third quarter ended on December 31, 2016.

1. Its standalone net profit for the October to December quarter of FY17 jumped by 53.73% to Rs 1,590.31 crore as against Rs 1,041.25 crore in the year-ago quarter
2. The company's total income from operations during the period under review rose by 14.94% to Rs 55,540.70 crore as compared to Rs 48,322.86 crore in the year-ago period
Hindustan Petroleum Corporation on Monday reported nearly 53% rise in the standalone net profit for the third quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year 2016-17 (FY17) ended on December 31 last year.

"Its standalone net profit for the October to December quarter of FY17 jumped by 53.73% to Rs 1,590.31 crore as against Rs 1,041.25 crore in the October to December quarter of FY16," Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) said in a filing to the BSE.
The company's total income from operations during the period under review rose by 14.94% to Rs 55,540.70 crore as compared to Rs 48,322.86 crore in the year-ago period.
Its total expenses during the quarter increased by 14.09% to Rs 53,370.95 crore as against Rs 46,778.39 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

On Monday, the stock of HPCL closed up 1.15% or Rs 6.60 at Rs 578.15 on the BSE.
