How to block people on WhatsApp list: Get rid of troublemakers this way

Today, Whatsapp is the leading and most used messaging platform in the world. WhatsApp connects users with their family and friends anywhere and anytime - it even allows phone calls to be made. Considering its popularity, a huge number of people get together to interact. However, some of these contacts are plain nasty and exasperating. But worry not, you can shed this excess baggage easily. The easiest way to shake them off is to block them.

 To block a contact on WhatsApp on iPhone

Open WhatsApp (what else!) and select  >settings

Then tap on the >Account option, go to >Privacy and then >Blocked Contacts.

With this you will get a list of contacts you have already blocked (if any).

To add on more contacts to the list go to Add new option

Now, your WhatsApp contact list will open up. Find the person in the list you want to block and as you tap on the particular contact, it will right away go to your blocked list.

How to block an unknown number

Simply, open the unknown contact's chat and tap Block

How to block a contact on an android phone

Open WhatsApp, select the three dots option, go to >Settings

Then tap on >Account option

Go to >Privacy

Click on >Blocked Contacts

Your list of already blocked contacts (if any) will open up.

If you want to add on more to that list then select the option on the top right corner of the screen, your original WhatsApp contact list will open, find the contact you wish to block.

Tap on the particular contact and it will go to the blocked list of your WhatsApp.
