How many people have subscribed to Reliance Jio Prime Plan? Not many, reports claim
Reliance Jio may have garnered over 10 crore new paid subscribers on its platform but its Jio Prime membership for Rs 99 a year seems to find no takers.
ET Now in a report said that Reliance Jio has managed to gather only 1.6 crore customers to opt for Jio Prime membership.
In early March, the company launched two offers namely; ‘Buy one get one free offer’ and ‘Rs 50 cashback on every Jio Payment.’

Reliance Industries Ltd MD, Mukesh Ambani on February 21 announced the launch of Jio Prime which would offer its customers more than one third the data offered to regular Jio customers for a one-time payment of Rs 99.
The company put out tariff plans for post-paid and prepaid customers ranging from as low as Rs 19 to Rs 9,999.
Media reports have suggested that due to this lukewarm response to Jio Prime the company may consider extending the end date to subscribe to this offer till the end of next month.
