Reliance Industries chairman and managing director Mukesh Ambani at an ongoing Nasscom India Leadership Forum press conference in Mumbai said that he has a lot of respect for Indian IT industry adding further that it is a $160 billion industry and touching upon issues like, Donald Trump, investment in Jio, etc.,
Nasscom projects Indian IT sector to grow at 8.6% in FY17; defers industry growth prediction for FY18
Here are 10 things Mukesh Ambani said at Nasscom's event:
1. Fourth industrial revolution connectivity and data. Data is the new natural resource
2. We believe that investment in Jio will enable India to be in top 10 in data and internet access in the world
3. What we have now is the world's first IP network. Next step is partnership for this industry
4. Trump may be blessing in disguise for India. We will look to solve problems in India itself
5. Partnership is needed to build the digital ecosystem in India and for Innovation. No one company can do it own its own
6. Remember at the end of the day technology has to adjust itself to people
