HDFC to issue rupee-denominated bonds worth Rs 500 crore on Oct 14
Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) announced on Thurday that it will issue fourth tranche of rupee-denominated bonds worth size of Rs 500 crore to overseas investors starting this Friday.
"...Pursuant to the approval of the board of directors of the corporation at its meetings held previously, the corporation is contemplating, subject to market conditions, undertaking the fourth issuance of rupee-denominated bonds to overseas investors...," HDFC said in a filing to the BSE on Thursday.
HDFC will issue the bonds on October 14 this year which will also be the closing and pricing date of the bonds.
It will list its rupee-denominated bonds on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), it said.
"The pricing and the tenure of the bonds to be issued pursuant to the said issue will be intimated to you in due course," HDFC further said in a statement.

On Wednesday, the stock of HDFC closed down 0.98% or Rs 13.80 at Rs 1,391.00 on the BSE.
