If you are an HDFC Bank debit card holder, then this is the time to make the most of Online Shopping. In fact, things can get even better as monsoon season gives way to the approaching holiday season in terms of sales and discounts. HDFC Bank has unveiled its e-commerce initiative called Smart Buy through which debit card holders can avail a variety of offers and discounts on various Online/e-commerce transactions. HDFC Bank offers 5% cashback up to Rs. 500 on online shopping with HDFC Bank Debit Cards.

With purchases that exceed the bill amount of Rs 2,000, HDFC Bank cardholder will gain 5% instant discount. Additionally, one can get a maximum discount of Rs 500 per card. You should remember that this offer is valid from 10th July 19 to 30th September 19.

The HDFC debit card holders can get up to Rs 500 cashback points per customer per month. 

To redeem these CashBack points, the customer needs to log-in in to NetBanking or by calling PhoneBanking and requesting for the redemption of the CashBack points. 

However, the customers should know that the offer cannot be combined with any other offers on the purchase. Also, the offer is not applicable in case of any return / partial cancellations. Final transaction amount to be minimum Rs. 2000 to be eligible for the offer.

Notably, the promotional CashBack points earned will be valid for redemption for 12 months, post which the same will expire.

The bank suggests that if in case of delay in posting or non-posting of Reward Points or CashBack if applicable for a promotional campaign beyond the committed TAT, the customer is requested to contact the Bank. On which the Bank shall review the same & have the Reward points/ CashBack posted if the customer is eligible as per offer T&C.
