Largest lender State Bank of India have levied different charges on daily cash withdrawal for their debit card holders.

Here's a list of charges that you need to remember while using SBI cards. 

Debit Card Issuance Charges: 

Majority of customers usually apply for normal which is classic or global debit cards in many banks. Thus, there are no charges levied by SBI during issuance of this cards. 

Maximum amount that can be withdrawn from SBI Classic or global cards stands at Rs 40,000 per day and minimum involves up to Rs 100 per day. 

However, this debit card's annual maintenance charges (AMC) is Rs 100 plus service taxes of 12.36%. This is recovered at the beginning of the second year onward. 

In case of applying for gold debit card - SBI charges you with Rs 100 including service taxes. While annual maintenance charges for Silver/Global /Yuva /Gold Debit Card - Rs 150 plus service tax has been levied. 

On the other hand for applying Platinum Debit Card in SBI you will have to pay Rs 306 including services tax. Rs 200 plus services tax has been levied for annual maintenance charges on this card. 

SBI also offers pride and premium business debit card for which there are no issuance charges but Rs 300 plus service tax imposed for AMCs. 

A person is entitled for Rs 1 lakh withdrawal limit along with online/POS limit of Rs 2 lakh on pride cards and Rs 2 lakh per day withdrawal limit also with online transaction limit up to Rs 5 lakh per day on premium business card. 

If you plan to replace your current debit card then charges of Rs 204 including service tax has been imposed by SBI. While Rs 51 including service tax has been implied for regeneration of the PIN number. 

Transaction charges: 

For cash withdrawal at any SBI Group ATMs there are no charges.

Also a SBI card holder has been entitled for 5 transactions (Financial and Non-Financial) in a calendar month (for Savings Bank account holders only).

Beyond five transactions (in savings accounts) and apart from savings account at other ATM Banks - Rs 17 will be charged including service tax for financial transaction and Rs 6 including service tax for non-financial. 

Decline at ATM/Point of Sale (PoS) transaction due to insufficient balance - SBI levies Rs 17 including service tax. 

For international transaction, SBI levies Rs 17 including service tax for balance enquiry, Rs 169 including service tax for ATM cash withdrawal and zero charges for point of sale (POS).
