GRM Overseas, a key player in the FMCG sector and an exporter of basmati rice, has announced the expansion of its global footprint. As part of this expansion, the company has announced a strategic partnership with Solariz Invest in Morocco.

"This collaboration represents a pivotal moment in GRM's global expansion efforts, as it introduces its flagship basmati rice brand ‘Tanoush’ to Moroccan consumers via Solariz Invest’s wide-reaching distribution network. ‘Tanoush’ will be offered in 1kg and 5kg Packs," the company said in an exchange filing.

According to the agreement, Solariz Invest will act as the exclusive distributor of GRM Overseas products in Morocco. 

Earlier, GRM Overseas, one of the leading Indian basmati rice exporters, bagged an order worth Rs 600 million from Bin Awadh Alnaqeeb Group from Yemen. 

As per the agreement, GRM Overseas will ship Indian Basmati Rice to Bin Awadh Alnaqeeb Group, is the largest importer of Basmati Rice from India. The Rs 600 million order is the biggest order the company has received from the Yemen-based importer distributor to date.

Established in 1974, the Company exported rice to the Middle East, the United Kingdom, and the United States during its initial years. Gradually expanding its reach, GRM has developed a market for its rice in 42 countries, thereby achieving the title of being among the top 5 Rice Exporters in India.
