Granules India Q4 results: Granules India — a Hyderabad-based pharma company that makes painkiller drug Paracetamol and anti-inflammatory drug Ibuprofen — on Tuesday reported a net profit of Rs 119.6 crore for the quarter ended March 2023, missing analysts' estimates. The company's net profit marked an increase of 7.8 per cent compared with the corresponding period a year ago.

Granules India's quarterly revenue grew 16 per cent to Rs 1,195.5 crore, according to a regulatory filing, in line with Street expectations. 

According to Zee Business research, the company's quarterly net profit was estimated at Rs 140 crore and revenue at Rs 1,137 crore.

The company's board recommended a final dividend of Re 1.5 per equity share of Re 1 — a 150 per cent payout.

Granules India shares: Historical performance

Granules India shares lost 8.8 per cent of their value in the March quarter, a period in which the Nifty 50 index declined 4.1 per cent.
