Doodle for Google 2019: Internet Search Giant Google has announced ‘Doodle for Google 2019’ competition for school students, inviting applications from young students from Class 1 to 10 to submit their entries for Google Doodles. It says "This year’s Doodle for Google theme invites you to show us what you hope for in your future. The winner’s artwork will be made into an interactive doodle on Google.com, and will receive loads of scholarships and prizes."
The winning Doodle entry in the Google contest features on the Google India Homepage. However, this year's competition has an impressive cash award attached with it. The winner will be awarded with Rs 5 lakh worth of College Scholarship by Google, which says, "Students in Class 1-10 are invited to take part in the 2019 Doodle for Google contest, and create an uplifting doodle that tells the world “When I grow up I hope ...” From crayons to clay, graphic design, or even food, young artists can utilize any materials to bring their creation to life. Like all Google Doodles, each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e."
It further adds, "One national winner will receive an INR 500,000 college scholarship, an INR 200,000 technology package for their school/non-profit organization, and the winning doodle will be showcased on Google's India Homepage on 14th November 2019. The contest is open for entries from August 1st – September 30th, 2019 – only 8 short weeks!"
For this year's Doodle contest, Google provided a unique theme 'WHEN I GROW UP, I HOPE...' Students are free to develop their doodle on this theme using any idea. All entries submitted for the contest must be accompanied by an application form, with a statement explaining how it represents the theme.
Application Dates
The online application process has already started and the deadline to submit the Doodle Entries is 30th September 2019. To ensure that no student misses out on participating in the contest, doodle entries for the contest are being accepted both online as well as offline format.
There are 5 class categories under which the doodles entries will be grouped:
Class 1-2
Class 3-4
Class 5-6
Class 7-8
Class 9-10
How to Apply?
The application form can also be accessed via a direct link-- https://doodles.google.co.in/intl/ALL_in/d4g/enter/. Participants can participate in the contest by downloading he entry form provided on the Google website. Those who are submitting their entries online, should download the application form, fill it and upload a scanned copy of the same as part of the application process.
Online entries can be made by uploading a scanned copy of the art work on Doodle for Google website in .jpg or .png format. For offline entries, they should mail their entries to the following address:

Selection Process
Google will shortlist 4 entries from each group as the national finalists, and the 20 shortlisted Doodles will be displayed on an online gallery on the Doodle for Google website from October 21 to November 6, 2019. The winner will be announced on 14th November 2019.
