GMR Infra reports Q4 net loss at Rs 954 crore; stocks down nearly 3%

GMR Infrastructure on Tuesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 953.5 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2016.

Its total income from operations rose 29.12% to Rs 3,708.37 crore during the quarter from Rs 2,872.01 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a regulatory filing.
During the entire 2015-16 fiscal, the company's net loss stood at Rs 2,161 crore as against Rs 2,733.29 crore in the previous financial year.
The company's net sales in 2015-16 stood at Rs 13,248.18 crore as compared to Rs 10,935.25 crore in 2014-15.
GMR Group is a leading global infrastructure conglomerate with interests in the airport, energy, transportation and urban infrastructure.
At 13:10 hours, the shares of GMR Infrastructure were trading down 2.96% or Rs 0.34 at Rs 11.16 per scrip on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
