Full list of Narendra Modi Cabinet Ministers and ministry-wise portfolios: Nirmala Sitharaman is the new Finance Minister while Anurag Thakur is the MoS in Finance Ministry. Amit Shah has become the new Home Minister of India while Rajnath Singh has got the Defence Ministry.
Full list of Narendra Modi Cabinet Ministers and ministry-wise portfolios: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has allocated portfolios to his new team of ministers on Friday, a day after they were sworn-in by President Ram Nath Kovind. Nirmala Sitharaman is the new Finance Minister while Anurag Thakur is the MoS in Finance Ministry. Amit Shah has become the new Home Minister of India while Rajnath Singh has got the Defence Ministry. The new list of ministers in the Modi Cabinet has several names missing from the previous term - some prominent ones include Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Suresh Prabhu, Jayant Sinha, Manoj Sinha and others. PM Modi took oath at the majestic forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday evening along with 57 ministers. Around 8000 guests, including foreign dignitaries, were present on the occasion.
