Flipkart has also hired a team of style consultants who will help them curate outfits based on searches made by customers.

US-based Amazon is also not far away.

Amazon India said that it is aiming to make Amazon Fashion India's top online store by roping in more designer brands.

Also a report in Techcircle said, "Amazon, which has been inking partnerships with a number of brands including Arrow, Swarovski and Aeropostale, is planning to introduce more private labels to create a solid identity in the online fashion segment that is largely ruled by Flipkart."

This year alone, Amazon Fashion enhanced its category by adding 150 fashion brands like Armani Exchange, Versus by Versace, Payal Pratap, and Monisha Jaising. It also introduced five premium watch brands namely Invicta, Stuhrling, August Steiner, Burgi, and Akribos XXIV.

Both these online shopping services are expanding in private labels space with focus on high margin fashion segment.

Flipkart, along with Myntra and Jabong, has been dominating the online shopping market by controlling 70% of its market size in India.
