Royal Enfield Q1 FY25 Results: Eicher Motors on Thursday reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,101 crore for the quarter ended June 30, up 19.9 per cent compared with the corresponding period a year ago.

Its revenue increased 10.2 per cent on a year-on-year basis to a record Rs 4,393 crore, according to a regulatory filing. 

According to Zee Business research, Eicher Motors was estimated to log net profit of Rs 1,000 crore with revenue of Rs 4,250 crore for the fiscal first quarter.

Eicher Motors registered Rs 1,165 crore in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) for the June quarter, up 14.1 per cent over the year-ago period.

Zee Business analysts had pegged growth in Eicher Motors' EBITDA at 10.7 per cent.

VE Commercial Vehicles’ first-quarter revenue grew 1.8 per cent to Rs 5,070 crore, Eicher Motors said.

Royal Enfield - a subsidiary of Eicher Motors - logged sales of 2,27,736 motorcycles in the first quarter of the current financial year, as against 2,25,368 units in the year-ago period.

The motorcycle maker's sales volumes were expected at 2.26 lakh units for the June quarter, according to the research. 

“After a strong performance in FY24, we have started this year on a confident note, registering our best ever quarterly financial performance with both Royal Enfield and VECV reporting steady growth," said Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director, Eicher Motors. 

VECV recorded its best-ever first-quarter sales, gaining volumes in key segments, and reflecting its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, Lal added. 

Earlier on Thursday, Eicher Motors shares ended 0.5 per cent lower at Rs 4,578.8 apiece on BSE.
