To beat the dominance of Reliance Jio and Airtel, state-run BSNL has come up with some broadbands plans which offer better deals to its users. Currently, Jio's GigaFiber and Airtel's V-Fiber services dominate the market.  Now, the users will get better speed limit its broadband plans of Rs 777 and Rs 1,277. There will be any daily data limit and the customers will get the maximum speed for the entire amount of data. Under the previous plan, there was a daily cap on the data use.

The users can now use the data at full speed of 50Mbps until 500GB of data limit per month. Under the Rs 1,277  plan, the users get 100Mbps speed until  750 GB data are exhausted.  They can use the broadband service at a speed of  2Mbps after the data limit exceeds.

Jio's Rs 750 plan offers 450GB of data for a month at a speed of 50Mbps, while Rs 1,299 plan offers 750GB data for one month at a speed of 100Mbps. Airtel's Rs 799 plan offers 100 GB data.

With this plan, the state-run telecom service operator is trying to win back customers, the data space is very competitive.  In circles like Gujarat and Kerala, BSNL 4G subscribers will be able to use 4G VoLTE calls now.  The company offers only 3G services with 4G VoLTE so far.  The 4G VoLTE may give customers better user services. 

Kotak Institutional Equities in a recent report said BSNL accumulated losses may have crossed Rs 90,000 crore by December last year.
