Cipla Q4 2023 preview, Cipla Q4 results date: Cipla, the global pharmaceutical company, is slated to release its March quarter numbers on May 12, 2023. The quarterly results are expected to be good at the operational level. According to Zee Business Research, the company is likely to report a 7 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated revenue to Rs 5,652 crore against Rs 5,260 crore logged in Q4FY2023.
The drug major's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) are expected to jump by 54 per cent to Rs 1,150 crore from Rs 749 registered in the year-ago period while its profit after tax (PAT) is likely to surge 88 per cent to Rs 680 crore from Rs 362 crore a year ago and the margins are expected to grow to 20 per cent from 14 per cent.
US sales are expected to be around $20-21 crore. A 6-7 per cent growth is expected in the domestic market. Management commentary related to USFDA on the Pithampur plant will be crucial.
At the bourses, Cipla's stock has given a positive return of nearly half a per cent in the last year (May 11, 2022). In comparison, the headline index Nifty 50 has rallied 11 per cent.
