Government-run BSNL has introduced a new prepaid voice calling plan priced at Rs 39 in India today. The plan offers unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS and free PRBT for a period of 10 days. The offer will be available in home circles and national roaming. However, voice calls are not free in Delhi and Mumbai circles.  BSNL is also offering 100 free SMS to any network and free PRBT for 10 days.

Besides STV 39, which was launched recently, the telecom operator also has voice calling plans of Rs 99 and Rs 319. The STV 99 offers unlimited voice calls to any network across the country for 26 days, according to a Telecom Talk report. On the other hand, STV 319 offers unlimited voice calls without any SMS or PRBT benefit for 90 days, it said.

In the same range, Reliance Jio is offering free voice calls and 1GB of 4G data for JioPhone users at Rs 49 for one month. This offer is only for JioPhone users and not for the standard 4G smartphone users.  On the other hand, BSNL’s STV 39 is valid for all its prepaid subscribers. Mumbai and Delhi numbers, BSNL has a separate STV 45, which provides free voice calls to mobile numbers in these two cities and the STV 45 is available with unlimited combo plans of Rs 186, Rs 484 and Rs 666.

Airtel has also Rs 9 prepaid plan. This plan offers 100 MBs of 3G/4G data for 1 day with free and unlimited local, STD as well as roaming voice calls. Airtel's Rs 93 prepaid plan offers 1GB 3G/4G data with a validity of 28 days. Under  this plan, the telco offers unlimited local, STD, roaming voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
