BSNL launches Chaukka plan offering 4GB data per day for 90 days

State owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) announced a launch of a new offer which offers its 'unlimited' data plan which includes providing for 4 GB data per day for 90 days.

BSNL Chaukka “444” is a special tariff voucher (STV) plan which the company has launched as part of a special promotional offer for its prepaid mobile services.

The company in a release said that it is a follow up offer after a successful response to BSNL's Unlimited data offer "Triple ACE" STV of Rs 333 in which 3 GB data per day was offered.

“The benefits customer will get under the new STV- 444 'BSNL CHAUKKA' of Rs 4,441- truly unlimited data with 4 GB data/day with validity of 90 days,” the company said.

These offers come as the state-owned telecom player tries to compete with the unlimited data plans that Reliance Jio and others haves have recently introduced.

Reliance Jio's ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan’ offer rolled out in April includes Rs 309 and Rs 509 which would offer 84GB and 168GB respectively to customers for another three months.
