BSNL introduces new prepaid plan, extends bumper offer - Details here

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced new prepaid vouchers and special tariff vouchers (STVs). To lure more subscribers, the state-run telecom operator regularly introduces new prepaid vouchers and also make revisions to the existing prepaid plans and STVs. Recently the company launched VASANTHAM GOLD – PV 96 recharge plan with a subscription validity of 90 days.

BSNL Rs 96 Prepaid Plan Details
According to Telecom Talk, the VASANTHAM GOLD – PV 96 recharge plan has been launched in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circle only and with effect from July 5, 2019. Notably, it will be available to subscribers for a promotional period of 90 days. 

The plan comes with a validity of 180 days and offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network including roaming except to Mumbai and Delhi circles. Additionally, the subscribers will get 100 SMS per day. The validity of these freebies would be 21 days. BSNL has also noted that the base tariff applicable after freebies for calls would be as per the “per minute plan”. BSNL customers who are wishing to subscribe to this plan can do so by sending SMS PLAN VOICE96 to 123.

BSNL Extends Bumper Offer:
Apart from the introduction of a new prepaid plan, BSNL has revised its popular bumper offer which provides extra 2.2GB data to its subscribers every month. This offer, which was slated to end at the end of June has been revised in the first week of July to last till October 2019. Under which, subscribers will get an additional 2.2GB data credited to their accounts on top of their existing data limit. One should know that STVs and prepaid vouchers which will be eligible under this offer.

In other words, If a customer has an STV or a prepaid plan the BSNL subscriber gets access to 1GB data per day, but when combined with this offer, the customer will be able to 3.2GB of data per day. 

Additionally, BSNL has listed few of its plans which will be eligible for this offer, which includes Rs 186, Rs 429 plan and also the Rs 485 and Rs 666 plan providing 1.5GB data per day.
