BSNL extends Rs 1,699, Rs 2,099 bumper offers, enjoy 2.2GB extra data; Did you know you get over 4GB, 6GB data per day now
To make most of the festive season, BSNL had launched two new annual recharge packs - Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099. BSNLs Rs 1,699 pack competes directly with RJio, which also has a similar pack.
After receiving heavy customer response, the state-owned BSNL has extended its bumper offers' validity period. According to MySmartprice, it has been revealed that now, subscribers eligible for prepaid recharge plans, get an additional 2.2GB data over and above the already available daily quota. No other telecom company has been able to successfully replicate BSNL’s bumper 2.2GB extra data offer. The new offer is valid from November 15th, 2018 to January 31st, 2019.

This offer of state-owned telecom service provider was expected to end by November 14, however, now customers can enjoy a similar plan up till January 2019.
BSNL's Rs 1,699 plan gives massive 2GB data per day for a period of 365 days. This means you enjoy 730GB for a year. Once the FUP limit is over, a user will only get to access the data at a speed of 80 kbps.
Under this plan, customers are also given unlimited local, STD and national roaming calling facility. One will also enjoy 100 SMS daily.
Coming to Rs 2,099 plan, it offers 4GB data per day for 365 days. With this, a customer gets a whopping 1,460GB data for a year. Remaining all other facilities are similar like the Rs 1,699 plan of BSNL.
To add to the excitement, under the above two plans you can also get it in Delhi-Mumbai Circle.
With the new additional 2.2GB offer on these bumper packs, now BSNL customer will enjoy reportedly 4.21GB/day data with the STV-1699, and 6.21GB/day with the STV-2099 recharge.
As per the reports, readers will notice the plans appear to have about 11MB extra.
Let's compare the RJio annual offer. On October 17, Jio announced the Jio Diwali 100% Cashback Offer which gives users 100% cashback on Jio recharges of Rs 149 and above this festive season and a new all unlimited Rs 1699 annual plan.
New unlimited annual plan at Rs 1699 entitles users to unlimited data (1.5 GB / day of high speed data), Unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS/ day, as well as access to a host of Jio Premium apps comprising JioTV JioCinema, JioMusic, JioMags, among others.
Hence, BSNL has finally managed to outshine RJio when it comes to providing great annual recharge packs.
