BSE announces Rs 15 per equity share dividend, check record and payment dates
BSE dividend 2024: The Bombay Stock Exchange has also announced its financial results for the fourth quarter ended on March 31, 2024, along with a dividend announcement.
BSE dividend 2024: The board of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, May 8, recommended a final dividend of Rs 15 per equity share for FY24, according to a stock market disclosure.
"Recommended payment of a final dividend of ₹ 15/- per equity share of face value of ₹ 2 each. This proposal is subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing 19th Annual general meeting of the company," the company said in an NSE filing.
"Pursuant to Regulation 42 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, record date to determine shareholders who will be eligible to receive the final dividend, subject to shareholder’s approval, will be Friday, June 14, 2024, and payment will be made on or before Tuesday, August 13, 2024," the stock exchange further informed in the regulatory filing.
BSE has also announced its financial results for the fourth quarter ended on March 31, 2024, along with a dividend announcement.
Leading stock exchange reported a 21 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 107 crore for the March quarter. In comparison, the bourse had posted a net profit of Rs 88.6 crore in the year-ago period. The bourse's total income doubled to Rs 548.36 crore in the January-March period of 2023-24 from Rs 271.5 crore registered in the year-ago period, BSE said in a filing to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).
Meanwhile, shares of BSE last exchanged hands at Rs 2,815 each, up Rs 7.55 or 0.27 per cent today, May 8 on NSE.
