Big Freedom Sale: Flipkart offers additional 10% discount for HDFC bank debit, credit card holders

Flipkart’s Independence Day sale – Big Freedom Sale – began on Wednesday August 9 and will last up to August 11 midnight. The e-commerce website is offering up to 60% off on mobiles. Deals on smartphones like iPhone 7, Google Pixel, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and Motorola G5 Plus have been unveiled.

Along with this Flipkart is offering up to 70% off on appliances and up to 80% off on fashion apparel.

However HDFC bank customers can get a sweeter deal on Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale.

HDFC debit and credit card holders will get a ‘10% instant discount’ by using their cards at the time of payment, the Flipkart website reads.

The 10% offer is also available on ‘EasyEMI’ and on minimum spends of Rs 3000, an email to an HDFC customer on Wednesday read.

Maximum discount per card will be Rs 1750, HDFC said.

Flipkart is offering the following phones up to Rs 18,000 lower:

• Moto M for Rs 12999
• Lenovo K6 Power for Rs 8999
• Moto G5 Plus for Rs 14999
• Lenovo K5 Note for Rs 9999
• iPhone 6 32GB for Rs 23999
• The Redmi Note 4 is available for Rs 9999.

On its sale of television sets, Flipkart is offering up to 34% off.

Discounts are available on Micromax HDLR LED TV 81 cms, Vu UHD smart LED TV 114 cms, Onida full HD LED smart TV 109 cms, Vu full HD LED TV 98 cms and the Sony Bravia HD Ready LED smart TV 80 cms.

Flipkart is also offering frost free refrigerators, fully automatic washing machines and split ACs at a discount during the sale.

Accessories such as Lenovo 10,000mAh Power Bank have been put up for sale for Rs 999 and discounts on home furniture are also available during Flipkart’s Big Freedom Sale.
