BHEL Q4 Result: PAT slips more than 30%, revenue rises 2% YoY
BHEL Q4 Result: The earnings released showed that the total revenue from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 8226.99 crore
BHEL Q4 Result: BHEL or Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, an Indian central public sector undertaking and the largest government-owned power generation equipment manufacturer, recorded a fall of more than 30 per cent in consolidated profit after tax or PAT at Rs 611 crore for the quarter ended March 2023 (Q4FY23). In the year-ago period, the profit stood at Rs 912.5 crore. However, the total revenue from operations rose 2 per cent. The earnings released showed that the total revenue from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 8226.99 crore, as compared to Rs 8226.99 crore logged in the corresponding quarter of the preceding fiscal.
EBITDA has been down by 14.4 per cent as it stood at Rs 986.2 crore, which was previously at Rs 1,151.9 crore in the same quarter in the previous year.
The share price of the company opened at Rs 82.10 on Friday and closed at Rs 78.95. The share price closed at 3.42 per cent low before the results.
The Board has recommended a Final Dividend at 20 per cent with Rs.0.40 per share of Rs. 2/-each on the paid-up share capital of the Company for FY 2022-23. Final Dividend, if declared by the Company in the Annual General Meeting shall be paid/ dispatched within 30 days from the date of the Annual General Meeting.
