BHEL Q1 FY25 Results Preview: New Delhi-headquartered Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) is set to report its financial results for the April-June period (Q1 of FY25) on Wednesday, July 31. Analysts expect the engineering and manufacturing PSU to report a narrowing of its net loss on the back of strong order inflows.

According to Zee Business research, BHEL is estimated to register a consolidated net loss of Rs 105 crore for the first quarter of the current financial year, as against a net loss of Rs 352 crore for the corresponding period a year ago. The analysts estimate the PSU's quarterly revenue at Rs 5,543.5 crore, up 10.8 per cent on a year-on-year basis.

Zee Business analysts expect the engineering company's quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to remain negative at Rs 236 crore, although narrower than Rs 364 crore a year ago.

Investors will closely track updates on the company's order book, with analysts expecting its order book psat the Rs 1.40 lakh crore mark.
