Bharti Airtel Q1 FY25 Results Preview: Bharti Airtel is set to report its financial results for the April-June period on Monday, August 5. Analysts expect the private sector telecom major to stage a strong financial performance for the first quarter of the current financial year, on the back of a low base and an improvement in its average revenue per user (ARPU), a key measure of profitability for telecom operators.

According to Zee Business research, Bharti Airtel is estimated to register a consolidated net profit of Rs 3,800 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024, translating to a jump of 83.4 per cent compared with the previous three months which included an exceptional loss of Rs 2,455 crore. The analysts expect the telecom service provider to register 2.7 per cent sequential growth in revenue to Rs 38,600 crore for the fiscal first quarter of FY25. 

Bharti Airtel is expected to register Rs 20,100 crore in quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA), up 3.8 per cent over the previous three months, according to the research. Zee Business analysts peg the telecom major's margin for the June quarter at 52.1 per cent, marking a sequential increase of 60 basis points (bps). 

Bharti Airtel is estimated to log an average revenue per unit (ARPU) of Rs 211, as against Rs 209 for the March quarter, according to Zee Business research.

Zee Business analysts estimate Bharti Airtel to register sequential growth of two per cent in its Idnia wireless business and four per cent in Airtel Africa.
